We founded SMC in December 2006. It started with a vision - impact the world in a positive way. Our experience involved cosmetics and we came across a formula made from minerals. Being naturalists, we thought, "this is going to be huge!" And we decided to create our own brand that captured the very best possible formula with the most popular shades so that we could help almost any woman achieve her natural beauty without the man-made chemicals in every other brand.

Our scientists created a masterpiece...a superior mineral formula without the cheap, lead-based filler called Bismuth Oxychloride and without the chemical preservatives so abundant in traditional makeup.
